Knows enough code to be annoying

I didn’t start in UX. I stumbled into it.

Fresh out of uni, I joined their tech grad program and rotated through engineering teams. One stint in UX changed everything. I saw how design could cut through complexity, shift behaviour, and actually make things make sense. Even when I went back to mobile dev, I couldn’t let it go. I found myself tweaking layouts, asking “why” during standups, and quietly sketching out improvements on the side. A year later, my old UX lead called with an opening. I applied - and never looked back.

From there, I designed everyday banking tools used by hundreds of thousands of Australians, making complex financial systems feel more human and intuitive (and a lot less rage-inducing).

Most recently, I led product design at Vitruvian, a fitness tech startup rethinking how people train at home. As one of the first designers, I helped shape the product from scratch; leading app features, refining the design system, and championing user feedback every step of the way.

Now, I bring that hybrid mindset into every project: always thinking about how things work under the hood, and how they feel in the hands.

Outside of work I enjoy:

Playing video games (I go feral for a good RPG)
Slowly but surely ticking off my world travel bucket list—9 countries down, many more to go
Scouting out the latest and greatest restaurants
Tearing up the karaoke bar
Soaking up the vibes at art and comedy festivals, workshops, and events
